Excellent

Now, we'll see how it behaves in its habitat, that is, I'm waiting to try it... As for Amazon shipping, needless to say, that is (all perfect and very punctual!) Inaugurated and tested today... And yes, it's not exactly for beginners but I can say that knowing how to go about it in a semi-professional way, on calm "lake" water it goes like a missile both with two people rowing and with an electric motor. In short, excellent after testing. Not exactly for amateurs, it can tip over. Equally convenient is the inflation and deflating pump, which creates a vacuum in the kayak!

First Kayak

First kayak purchase. Can’t compare to anything else. Did my research. Reviews stated not stable.! But you sacrifice a bit of stability for speed. It’s all about centre balance. I found it very easy to keep upright, and manoeuvre. Inflated and deflated fast. Packs well, and even got two life jackets inside. Overall build is top quality for the price. Feels really firm in the water, with efficient strokes. Pack size is manageable, I managed to carry it a few miles to a River!
I also purchased the aqua marina paddles, which go perfectly together.
Buy cheap, buy twice. This kayak is on the higher price end, but a good investment. Should last a long time with care. I did question a small concern, but aqua marina responded to me fast via email.

First Trip

Today was the first trip with the Tomahawk K 440. Transport and assembly was quick and easy. Everything was very well explained and self-explanatory even without the instructions. The boat looks sleek and drives like that too. At first you have to balance it a bit but after a short time the thing runs stable and is a lot of fun. The seats are very good. Both stable and comfortable. The boat has enough storage space and can be transported out of the water even when (normally) loaded. The drop-stitch technology is flawless and gives the boat top stability when travelling straight ahead and in light waves.
I can recommend the boat unconditionally!

Recommend

We used the canoe for the quarry lake around the corner but also for boat trips on the Altmühl (note: remove the fin first, the Altmühl is very shallow in places). The seats are attached with Velcro, but they are strips and allow you to move them forwards and backwards in advance, depending on where a child or someone with long legs is. The seats are also attached with up to 4 straps each. It is really extremely useful that you can change the horizontal position of the backrests using a zip; on long, strenuous trips you can adjust everything so that it is comfortable. A few eyelets/metal rings to which you can attach all kinds of things are very convenient, and the seats also have a pocket on the back for the person behind you; everything has been thought of. If water gets into the boat, it does not collect on your bottom but in the large, long grooves between the boat wall and floor, which is very convenient. There are two holes for draining water from the interior. Otherwise, with 10 psi, it is rock hard and stable. You can't get it in the original packaging anymore. I certainly don't want to have to roll over the thing to do that. Five stars, I can't think of anything that could be improved. I recommend this battery-operated pump for that
